How To Keep Your Plants Healthy And Free Of Bugs

Hello my Plant Junkies!!!

You have beautiful plants and love them so much, right?! I know the feeling… all you want is to keep them healthy, thriving and loving you back. Taking care of plants is not just watering. There is more work involved and you should take a look at your baby on a weekly basis.

Get close and personal and inspect your plants often. Look at the top and bottom of the leaves, stems and soil. Just like us they need grooming so get rid of any dead leaves whenever you see it happening. Pests are a big headache and they can damage and even kill your plant baby. These sneaky little devils can come into your home travelling on your clothes, fresh produce, fresh flowers, other infested plants or open windows and doors. Outdoors pests have predators but indoors they don’t so you need to be the predator in order to keep your plant healthy and protected. That’s why inspecting your plants on a weekly basis is so important as the quicker you assess the problem, the easier is to eliminate and control it.

If you ever find bugs on your plant the #1 step is to identify the bug (google has pictures of all of them for you to identify your culprit) and research about treatments. There are so many out there from homemade remedies to store bought insecticidal soap. Pick your fave and get killing!!!

Have a plantastic day empowered by plants!

Xoxo. Izabela.
